The rooms were average, but several maintenance issues were noticeable. There were broken tiles and a damaged health faucet in the bathroom. The room also lacked convenient features such as a USB charging port or an international power socket. Additionally, the water fountain and the surrounding area in the backyard were poorly maintained. Overall, it did not feel like good value for money.

The room was clean, spacious and consistently cool so I didn't need to use the fan at all. There was ample supply of hot water for bathing, and the meal promotion at the coffee house were very reasonable compared to other hotels of the same quality

It seemed that the cleaners did not clean the room and did not use the clean bedding. Upon our complain room was cleaned thoroughly next day

Location is not too bad, up in the hill with a short walk from the main street, shuttle bus is provided frequently. Breakfast is ok, I would say slightly above average. The room is a bit old and antique, well it is a Heritage hotel isn't it! I do find that the reception collect a deposit of RM$100 is meaningless, they will just return back to you anyway, and the refund process for my case took close to 10min, apparently the reception can't locate my deposit with my RM$100 bill. (Yes they found it somewhere)
