Amazing place and outstanding staff. Andre, in particular, was exceptionally helpful welcoming from the moment we arrived and consistently proactive throughout my stay. He anticipated what we might need, offered thoughtful recommendations, and followed up to make sure everything was perfect. The rest of the team mirrored that same warm, professional attitude: quick to greet, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely proud of their work. It’s rare to find a hotel where the service feels both efficient and personal, this one absolutely delivers, thanks to people like Andre.

A little refuge from the busy city. Al was amazing- location, breakfasts, staff, sparkling clean, and so much beautiful trees and flowers

No complaints at all about this hotel. It was definitely worth paying the extra to stay in the old building and have access to the terrace. Breakfasts were lovely.

What an amazing hotel. We ended up getting an Uber from the airport, which was no hassle. We were blown away by the beauty of the hotel and the wonderful staff. Extremely helpful. We were able to leave our bags while we explored Funchal. Beds were great. Tea, coffee and cooking facilities. If we ever came to Funchal again. We would come here without a doubt.

Beautiful property. Spacious room. Nice assortment for breakfast. Walking distance to downtown Funchal from hotel Make sure that you reserve parking. Very small parking garage and you need to reserve ahead of time. Staff was awesome in service.

Hotel is in very good location and has a parking garage. The parking is paid per day but the nearby parking is very limited or the same price, so it's worth it. The furniture is older but in good condition. I did not like the breakfast options, there are fruits, eggs, ham, sausages, some fresh juices but no vegetables. Excellent fruits though.
