Great location. Beautiful room. Let down by food quality of dinner and breakfast. In addition, they constantly ran out of bowls, cups and cutlery at breakfast. The food side of things needs some attention as the accomodation side of things is great.

Nice room for 3 people. Fireplace area was cosy and beds were comfy.
2ply toilet paper could be upgraded.
Room service was only changing the towels and giving clean plates/cutlery. They didn't empty the bins.

Room amenities were nice and the fireplace was quaint. The cost of food and drinks was quite a bit but to be expected when isolated on a mountain.

Such a great way to experience Cradle Mountain. The warmth, coziness and comfort of our cabin welcomed us after a day exploring.
Mulled wine and dinner in front of the fire at the bistro memorable.
The staff in all areas welcoming, efficient and obliging.
The wallabies and waterbirds spotted over breakfast at the restaurant fabulous!

The property is in a fantastic location, only a 5 min walk to the shuttle bus that takes you up the mountain. There are also some lovely walks on the grounds with plenty of wombats, pademelons and possums to be seen. The staff are so helpful and add lovely touches like turning the heater/towel warmer on while you're out for the day and providing chopped wood for the fire. They even gave me chocolates and a card for my birthday! Property is looking a little tired but very clean and tidy. We'd go back again for sure.

Fantasztikus Peppers Cradle Mountain was amazing! The setting was beautiful, the cabins so warm and cosy, the lodge reception area was really inviting, and the nature walks around the lodge were stunning. Highly recommend this place. We stayed for two perfect nights. The meals at the tavern are really great and well priced too.

The cabin was comfortable and clean. Food options were limited for a vegetarian (specially one who doesn’t want a minimum of two courses on the expensive restaurant ) and the Tavern which was noisy and just like a suburban pub) didn’t fit with the ethos of a beautiful natural environment. The staff were fantastic though and there are many gorgeous walks around the lodge.
