Fantasztikus

Staff were very accommodating. Comfortable room, very nice breakfast in the morning, and generously allowed me to leave my bag there after I checked out so I could explore Cologne without my luggage.

Great location and very quiet for being so close to the train station and cathedral. Room was small but comfortable and very clean. The breakfast buffet had lots of great quality options including made to order eggs. Our only issue was not realizing that the front desk closes at 8pm, which isn’t really a thing that happens in Canada. This would have been fine if our train was on time, but we were delayed several hours and when we showed up late at night there was no way to get into our hotel so we ended up having to pay for a room at second hotel. The hotel staff the next morning insisted we received an email with directions for a code to get in but I did not receive any such email. So, mostly our responsibility for not reading the fine print but make sure you arrange late check in if you are going to arrive after 8pm.

Very close to train station and cathedral. Room was in attic up some very high stairs. There was a lot of noise from adjoining room due to closeness. Breakfast was good with freshly cooked eggs and lots of choice. Very friendly staff. Check in was unusual with using ipad and getting a code. Ideally placed for old town.
