my stay here was amazing and will definietely stay the same

Arrived and waited for 10 minutes in the lobby with no staff to be found. Had to go looking for them, to find they were in a meeting. Got checked in and my room key didn’t work, had to walk back to the lobby. In the evening, the room was freezing and thermostat was un-usable. Called lobby, no answer. Went to the lobby in person to notify, they said they would send someone to fix it while my family was gone for dinner. Returned to find that nothing had been done. Property was attractive due to the location, very close to local attractions, however the poor staff service made this one a Do Not Return on my list.

I called beforehand letting them know my family would arrive at around 3am. BEFORE paying for the reservation they told me it was fine for them to check in. My family arrives and they were denied to check in and had to stay with kids in the car all night.

We booked 2 rooms, at checkin they were able to give me side by side rooms there are no adjoining doors in these rooms which was fine as we wanted both rooms to have their privacy. We drove in and arrived 3 hours before check-in but the front desk allowed us to park after verifying we had a reservation. The pool area is the best vibe to come back to, the whole property is very aesthetic with the plants and hacienda look. Our rooms were nice, the room was nice and cold when we finally checked in (we actually had to warm it up a bit) the rooms have 2 areas, the entry area with a sofa bed and another room with the two queens we reserved, there is a door that you can lock in-between these two areas. Bathroom was adequate, however it uses a sliding door which we were never able to close all the way or lock. I would stay here again, with one important note, as someone who always seems to need water after driving or flying long distances I assumed the water bottles in the lobby were free... They are not, the hotel listing mentioned free water and coffee and I assumed these were it, I happened to grab a couple while no one was in the lobby, boy was I embarrassed when on a different day I went to grab one and they asked if I'd like to charge it to my room. I ended up confessing and paying for the ones I had already took but if I had known ahead of time I could have bought 2 packs of water for what I was charged... This is really my only gripe lol, otherwise I loved this place.

The hotel is old needs to be upgraded. The rooms have spiders and cockroaches.

the rooms were disgusting and the room smelled bad like mildew. there were drug addicted in the parking lot. they said we had to wait until 8pm to get towels. the toilet didn't work and the phone didn't even have buttons on it and had holes where buttons should be. we left a few hours later because it was so bad. i asked to speak to a manager and was told to call in the morning which i did and was told manager would call back but never did. worst marriott we ever rented. they also charged a $35 amenities fee they said for them having a gym laundry and pool which the gym and laundry we never saw not used

All was well hotel is nice but older, needs some remodeling to freshen & bring rooms to a more modern look. Put new sofa beds furniture & remodel restroom to bring this hotel more to life. Other then that the hotel is nice, spacious & the staff is exceptional!

This location is great walking distance to Knott’s berry farm. The suite was not so great it had patches of missing paint. The foot tile in the shower was black. The floor was not cleaned and sanitized. The room smelled closed and not clean. The power outlet to the night stand was not functioning. The view I received was looking onto the apartment with alley view.

Stayed here about 10yrs ago and it was nice so I decided to stay again and well bad idea this place has become so run down. Windows and doors have wood shutters most of which are broken.first room i was put in stunk and had mosquitos, The room I was put in was dirty floor wasn’t even vacuumed tv didn’t work had volume but no picture, telephone didn’t work to call to the desk, elevator was dirty, pool area had towels and clothes on chairs in same spot for 2 days. You can tell whoever does the maintenance doesn’t care you can tell where they paint because nothing is taped off before hand. The girls at the front desk were nice and helpful but that’s about it. Also there’s no breakfast whatsoever so the fact that it says the hotel has a restaurant is a lie.

Our friend was staying the night before, and encouraged us to cancel our reservation but we took a risk. Decent walking distance to Knotts. Lots of food options nearby. Hotel is obviously dated, site advertised a shuttle to Knotts but that was non-existent and there was no breakfast or convenience store option to grab a quick drink or snack for the room. But the dealbreaker for us was no hot water. We had to take cold showers at 11pm after a long day in the park. And in the morning, the water was just as cold (so wasn’t related to too many people using at once…) this was a deal breaker for my husband. We might give it a try after the full remodel but until then we will go elsewhere.
