Shangri-la was great. But for what you pay, you would expect a slightly better gym and cleaner beach section (especially with the amount of times kids poo in the pool and shut it down for the day). Kids club was great. Buffet breakfast is too!

Very nice stay and would go again. Staff was very helpful with my autistic daughter and took the time to make sure she was enjoying herself. Food was great but also expensive, but to be expected living in Singapore.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices. The kids’ zone, pool area and private beach access were perfect for our family with a 2-year-old toddler.

Check in, room not ready, said an issue with the aircon and would text me in 20mins when room ready. Offered complimentary buffet to make up for it. 20mins later, no text. I go to the desk to follow up, the man just puts two cards in front of me, no sorry, no nothing. We needed to nap our 2yo and not having our room ready until 5:45pm was extremely frustrating. I emailed twice in the months before to request a cot in our room. Both times it was confirmed. Arrive to the room, no cot. We called twice for the cot, nothing - I had to go to the desk to ask for it again. Didn’t get a cot until 9pm. Complimentary dinner - I tried to confirm a time 3 times, 2 times in-person another time by email - no one could confirm. I get a call just before our requested time when already made plans elsewhere as we didn’t want to risk coming back to Sentosa if there wasn’t a confirmed booking. For breakfast included, the 1st time we attempted to attend, we were told it was full and sent to an overflow buffet which didn’t have as many options. The other 2 days had the same too full issue so went elsewhere. Checkout, asked for help to get 7 luggage bags down on a trolley. The hotel staff asked if we prebooked a trolley. Said it would be 30min wait for a trolley at 230pm. Had a car booked so we had to lug our own bags to the lift and wrangle kids down the long corridor to get to level 5 without help. All round, it seemed everything was too hard and we weren’t valued guests whose time mattered.

we stayed in 2 seaview rooms on the 10 flr with two grandchildren. The view is fantastic, rooms are functional, well kept and clean. Our 3 yrs old grandson son enjoyed the swimming pool and the beach. It’s my nth stay at this hotel and have brought my children here when they were young and also a few company retreats here. There is no lack of activities for the kids. Breakfast was very good with among the most number of choices of food. Besides the kid’s corner, there is a baby corner too - well thought out - must be commended. There is a total of 7 coffee machines - no queue - queuing for coffee is a typical issue in many hotel. Also all food stations are manned by chefs and there is plentiful of service staff helping customers. We stayed at banyan mandai rainforest resort in Singapore a month earlier. in comparison, banyan has many teething issues, breakfast and service are at best mediocre. Banyan is also overpriced 600+ per room versus shangri-la less than 500.

Check in was very slow and queued for an hour. The room is comfortable and the breakfast was enjoyable with a good spread, but the Chinese food items can be improved. The celery juice ran out more than an hour before the end of the breakfast time and was never refilled to my disappointment. When there is high occupancy the staff should probably make an effort to refill drinks and food items.

Had a great time and especially the morning house keeper Mei Ling. I dunno if I spelled it correctly but she is a ray of sunshine! She is a keeper! She loves what she does and she is kind to us. The buffet was spectacular but one of our companions slipped on the floor and was not offered any compensation but a bag of cold compress. The pool is good, the staff at the resto were attentive. The the Tarik guy is A+ also the guy who was serving koi roti.

We were very impressed with the overall experience and look forward to returning in the future. We’d be delighted to recommend you to our family and friends. The entire experience was great and the service was exceptional.
