The place was aweful, whole floor smells like rest room. Not a single glass in the room. No towels, rest rooms smells really bad. Worst part was the night it was hot this place doesnt have AC even not fans. We were sweating in room hardly slept. I asked the reception about fan they said they dont have any fans i would not recommend this place at all. If the priority is money then its ok otherwise the place is a torture.

This is my first visit to Interlaken and found the property is close to the railway station. Room charges are very expensive, unfriendly staffs and very very small room. I could have rented a better place.

An evening of youth staying on our floor - surrounding our room and using the lounge next to our room. Full evening of running up and down the hall, banging walls and scraping tables and chairs constantly in the lounge. Screaming and yelling to accompany the racquet in the lounge. Safe to say we would not be staying here again.

We’ve booked one night in a 4 pax private room with private showers. The basic amenities needed are provided. There’s a children play area at ground level which is excellent for parents. This is our first time staying in a youth hostel, so it was quite an experience having to make our own beds with the sheets provided. Breakfast was served in a comfortable environment.

Youth Hostel's location is the IDEAL gateway being at the central hub in exploring the beauty of the Jungfrau region ... few steps from Interlaken Ost train and bus stations with a nearby (2) Coop store and the back of the building overlooks the beautiful Lake Brienz .... breakfast buffet though consistent of its daily menus, will fill one's satiety enough to start your beautiful day. You can also safekeep your luggage if you arrive ahead of the check-in time or want to explore more hours of Interlaken after check-out which saves one of luggage storage fees offered in the train stations. We enjoyed our stay at Youth Hostel. We will definitely stay here again with the chance to go back and will book at the earliest so as not to run out of a room with private bathroom.
