Hotel/ room amazing staff lovely Very disappointed never got to use the Spa fully booked when we got to the hotel. Think you should be told when booking about the spa

Overall a wonderful stay with lots of lovely touches for our anniversary. Would love to give 5* but a few things held it back including not being able to order a drink to our room, spa team weren’t informative, outside bar was untidy and I never got my omelette requested at breakfast. Having said that - a lot of these I assume are one offs, would stay again.

The parking on site is awful and the over spill car park is even more inconvenient and the walk to the hotel reception is treacherous if your wife is wearing heels. The maya blue spa is a waste of time, you will get an email to contact them I contacted them several times over a week not once was a call answered and left messages to call me back and to my surprise nobody called back this was for my wife’s birthday and she loves a spa. The receptionist when we arrived just directed us to the maya blue reception in the basement and when we went there to our surprise there was 2 women at the reception desk next to the phone at a time I had called previous really poor just showed incompetence and unprofessional behaviour, I then persisted to ask could we use the spa to which they responded they are fully booked and next availability was the following afternoon but we would be checked out and on our way home at that point. Overall this ruined the whole stay and my wife’s birthday, room was lovely but that was about it.

This is my favourite hotel - we stay here every time we visit Liverpool - and we find as many excuses as possible to visit this wonderful city!

Lovely bar and restaurant and the staff were lovely.

Fast smooth check in. Lovely lady checked us in and we even had a complimentary upgrade to a superior room.Very much appreciated. Large room with a separate bath and shower. Very clean throughout. Had a mini fridge in the room which was very handy. Lovely cooked breakfast with lots of choices for continental too. We are returning in a few weeks. Highly recommend.

Could only use the pool at certain times. Breakfast if you hadn’t added to the room was expensive. But views and staff were lovely
