We had booked a room with bunk beds. Upon arrival these had not been installed. Quickly sorted by staff so nothing major.
The building could do with better glazing/soundproofing. I was staying with my kids who found it hard to sleep with the noise of people talking,walking and even coughing in the street outside. Very poor for a Radisson.
Location is excellent in-between the palace and fortress. Oslo city centre is on your doorstep.
All staff members we interacted with were fantastic. Always friendly, helpful and good ambassadors for the hotel.
The room itself has clearly been maintained and prepared to a high standard. A big thank you to the cleaning team for their efforts. Only slight downside is that we could not figure out how or if the aircon was on but it was only 23 degrees outside. That may be a design of Red series hotels.

Check in was quick and friendly. Location is excellent -close to harbour, various attractions and train/tram/bus links. Hotel is modern and room was excellent. Lovely art on wall, spacious with fantastic shower room (rain shower was superb). Room came with balcony that was great for relaxing on warm nights. Breakfast- usual hot/cold range which was lovely and staff v friendly.
Would def recommend and if ever back in Oslo would use again.

Our stay at the Radisson RED Oslo City Centre matched the strong praise seen in many of the hotel’s top reviews. The location is exceptional — just steps from Oslo Central Station and within easy walking distance of major attractions — and the hotel’s modern, youthful design creates a bright and inviting atmosphere. Our room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, with large windows and a quiet environment despite the central setting.
Staff were friendly, efficient, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast offered a fresh, well‑presented selection, and the lounge and bar areas provided a relaxed space to unwind. Overall, the hotel delivers a reliable, stylish, and well‑located experience — a solid 9/10 and a place we would gladly return to.

Not a very friendly reception on arrival and given a room with different arrangement than reserved. Otherwise very comfortable

Excellent location. Walking distance from the train station. Right near main shopping area and historical sites. Pleasant staff and good buffet breakfast.
