We had a very nice stay at the Maritim hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the hotel was in a convenient location, if a little bit seedy. Our housekeeping on the fourth floor was not that great. Coffee packets never replenished over the three days and pajamas left under the bedcovers.

Easy walking distance to lots of cool stuff.

Very good location to walk to Marienplatz square and the glokenspiel. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby in Marienplatz. so, the location was good. I feel our room could have been cleaner. There was a lot of hair in the bathroom and we had to request the soap/shampoo for our shower as it was empty. Came back from a day out and it was still empty. So we had to request it from housekeeping once again. Other than that, the room was adequate. Not sure if I would stay here again.

The four nights we have stayed in the mid night, they were some drunkers, homeless, or strange people were yelling and shouting at out side of building. We were waking up caused by those big noises from the neighborhood.

Wonderful and cheerful team

Air conditioning was broken and it was 88°F outside, and the hotel front desk promised us a refund. Now Expedia is denying the refund. Room also had a view of the local ‘club’. Use street maps to see what I mean. Avoid!

Our family stayed at the Maritim Hotel München for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel’s excellent location right next to the main train station, making it incredibly convenient for traveling to the city’s attractions and day-trip destinations. The city center was only about a 10-minute walk away, and there were plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. Overall, we had a great stay and would gladly choose Maritim Hotel München again on our next visit to Munich.

The maritim hotel is located near to the Munich central station. If you catch the S5 train from the airport to Munich hauptbahnhof, then it's no more than a 5 minute walk away. On arriving at the hotel, the reception staff were very welcoming when we were checking in and gave us all the information we would need regarding breakfast time and the onsite facilities. We were also given some maps of the centre of Munich and some bottles of water. The room we had booked was okay for our stay, it was as we expected, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet selection was good and the staff in the restaurant were really nice and very helpful (especially when you operated the coffee machine for the first time), something for all tastes. If there was one thing that could be improved, I would say that the hotel should advertise what meals are available in an evening, they may do so, but I couldn't find it. Although we didn't use the swimming pool or sauna, it was good to know that they were there if we wanted. We found all the staff at the hotel to be very friendly and helpful, and we will certainly stay there again on our next trip to Munich. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Maritim Hotel. The location is pretty good with the railway station (ICE, regional train services, SBahn and Ubahn services there) across the road so getting around is easy. The tram stop is also nearby. Marienplatz is around 10 minutes walk, so you can get to the City centre easily.

This is a great location with quick access to the train station and restaurants
