Fantasztikus The room was clean when we arrived. The grounds are very pretty and manicured. Upon arrival we were told about a community festival with good local food, arts & crafts and wonderful Hawaiian music with traditional hula dancers. We were disappointed about the restaurant being closed but found lots of local options and took advantage of the well stocked kitchenette in our room for breakfasts.

Slim pickens on Molokai, but this hotel had air conditioning in the rooms, easy parking, a nice staff, and easy check-in. Unfortunately the pool was closed all morning, and the hotel bar wasn't opened day or night. The room itself was decent with a comfy bed. It's Hawaii so you're gonna see an insect or two as well so just a heads up.
The biggest issue is no beach access even though you're on the beach. That being said, I would probably stay here again.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room had been sanitized before we checked in. Always neat when we returned from our outings. Beautiful property though showing its age. I would stay there again.

This hotel is very charming and old-fashioned in the best way. The rooms are spacious and modern, but the outside look and feel of the hotel is very quaint. The extremely helpful young woman at the front desk seemed to know everything about the island and was able to answer every question we asked. We were busy while we were there, so we didn't have a chance to use the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. We did use the laundry facilities (laundry detergent is available in the vending machine). Our room had a large bathroom (sink outside of the toilet/showr room but still separated from the bedroom), refrigerator, microwave, coffee set up, and very comfortable mattresses and pillows. The property is well maintained and quiet (well, except for the chickens, but they didn't really bother us and can be heard anywhere, any time in HI). We didn't have great cell service, but I realized too late that the hotel offers free calls to anywhere in the US, which is cool. The restaurant is closed, which is a shame, because it looks like it would be fun, and we would have liked an additional dining option. We would definitely stay here again if we have the good fortune to return to Molokai!

Clean and functional room, although not luxurious. A terrific view from upper unit. Minimal amenities (no restaurant on site but a new one is in the plans for summer 2026). The property evokes “Old Hawaii” nostalgia and vibes. It’s the only hotel on the island.

Location on ocean is beautiful.
Comfortable room, altho bedding and furniture are worn.
Restaurant is closed so only vending machine drinks and snacks are available.

Fantasztikus While it wasn't the fastest wifi, it let me watch YouTube with ease. But besides that, I wasn't there for fast internet. There's a whole beautiful island to explore. Room was very clean, A/C was a window type unit and not overpowering you with cold air. It did the job it was intended for and so the room was comfortable.

Friendly and helpful staff, room and property grounds well cared for. Ashley called to notify me of our room being ready for an early check in, which was greatly appreciated!
