Great welcoming staff. Bed was super comfortable and roomy.
Close to the village and Opuke pools.

Átlag alatt Bit rough. Very unprofessional.
I wouldn’t recommend staying here with the current owners (the place is currently for sale).
We were happy to overlook the unpainted repairs, etc. However, there is a bit of an attitude that guests are an inconvenience with at least one of the owners.
The final straw was when we were asked to provide feedback via email where I made a suggestion for them consider — that their late checkout policy is out of odds with other motels, hotels/other short-term accommodation around NZ (we go to a lot)…
I got a reply that was full of justification, accusations that we were being unfair for just asking on checkout day (other places don’t have a problem with that) as well another rude comment or two.
Finally, I gave them an opportunity to apologise (for their impoliteness) which they haven’t taken me up on.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was perfect for my teen son and I. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and was nice and cosy. Well positioned too with easy access to town and on the way to Mt Hutt. Would stay there again!

Rooms were clean and tidy with comfortable beds.
Owners were very friendly and a pleasure to talk to with great advice when holidaying in Methven.

Really lovely stay at the motels. Nice quiet location and Warren and Lesley were welcoming and went the extra mile (someone left their coat behind...! - and they gave us some great options to have it returned). Really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.
