Great staff, clean and updated rooms. Very close to great entertainment and Wooly's and East Village is an area with plenty of entertainment if live music isn't your go to. Always a pleasure to stay here when we're in Des Moines.

The room was nice. The air was hard to regulate and would not stay at the temp that it was set at. This made the nights sleep difficult as you would wake up hot and throw off covers and then need to put them back on when it finally cooled off again. Even though there is a thermostat in the room, it was not regulating the actual temperature. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast options were plentiful. It was in walking distance of multiple places as well which let us leave our vehicle in the parking garage for the $20/day.

We had a great stay! The room was fabulous and clean and comfortable. While we didn’t use the kitchen it had a large fridge/freezer combo, a small range and basic cooking items. The hot breakfast was amazing each morning. It was easily in walking distance of all the things we were in Des Moines to do. We would come back to this hotel.
