The staff were very good in the breakfast room, Carolina was very pleasant and cheerful
and always willing to be helpful, Phillipe was trying hard with his English a very nice young man.
The breakfast room was very cold, air conditioning was on full blast so that when we got to our table with the warm breakfast it was cold.
We paid extra to be in a river view room, this was a mistake as it was on the cold side of the hotel it didn't get any sun coming into the room through the day , when we came back to the room after being in the warm sunshine the room was very very cold, the Aircon was set for Summertime so no heat in the room.
We told the reception about this and the Lady said it could not be changed and that we could have some extra blankets if we wanted them. but this would not help the atmosphere in the room.
We had brought HOT WATER BOTTLES with us so that helped when we were in bed.
We had booked for nine nights but had to leave after five nights as my wife caught a chill.
