We booked this hotel a couple of times. Without exception the service level of the staff in this hotel is outstanding. It is conveniently located with restaurants and shops nearby. It is a really nice hotel.

It's kinda funky, so be prepared. It's not your sterile fill-in-the-blank chain hotel. Antique hotel with antique amenities. It does have an A/C unit (yay). No elevator! Pricey, but less so than the chains. Conveniently located to UCLA Medical Plaza. Valet parking only (another $43 / night, I think), and don't arrive too late, or the valet team will not be there.
I'll probably stay there again, now that I know what to expect.

We came here after leaving a hotel that wasn’t clean, and it was such a relief! Spotless, well-maintained, quiet. It was nice having someone at the door at all times to ensure safety and to help with any issues, though we didn’t have any.
My only constructive feedback is that there weren’t any good lighting options to do makeup. We were going to a wedding and I appreciated the full-length mirror, but it was a little tough to get ready without a brighter or adjustable light.

Nagyszerű The property location, room size, bed comfort, and cleanliness was great.
The breakfast buffet was overall quite underwhelming and both days we were there, they ran out of food way before 10AM putting the staff in a very awkward position having to ration food for upset guests, more reflective of poor management and poor customer service for a hospitality company. They are better off not offering complimentary breakfast service than continue as is.

Second stay here, during the summer time (when school is out) it’s very peaceful, lots of places nearby within walking distance for anything, easy access to highways and staff is spectacular. Comfortable room, 24/7 coffee machine is a blessing and so good, and they have a wonderful garden to hang out on the side. Staff is friendly and courteous.
