This hotel is was lovely find. Recently under new management it is a work in progress regarding opening the Bistro but hopefully it will open soon.. My room was upgraded from standard to a very spacious room with a separate bedroom and a spa. Very clean, very comfortable and unexpectedly quiet. I was on the ground floor facing Blackburn Rd, however there is a very solid concrete fence that provided an excellent buffer between the room and the traffic. It must be said there are a lot of rooms that do no face Blackburn Rd - if you prefer. The staff were very helpful and advised me that they are gradually upgrading the rooms but to my mind my room was perfect as it was. For the price a stay at the The Gateway Hotel, Blackburn Rd, Notting Hill is value for money. Safe, clean - quiet, a comfortable oasis in a very busy area. I highly recommend this Hotel - I will be back. Helen.

Been staying here a few times. I come back because it is peaceful, free parking and the staff are very accommodating. It is walking distance to the Sunny Dumpling House (highly recommended) and a service station for other necessities. They allowed a late checkout without charge and are friendly and courteous. Highly recommend staying here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

it's basic accommodation which is a little dated but provides value for money in a location that is very suitable for me, with an abundance of parking readily available. Nice and friendly, personalised and caring.

Well stocked with essentials, AC was fine, room was serviced daily and room was very comfortable and quiet.

The location suits me, and you can't expect a five star room at this price so have to accept that the walls have been repainted in patches, pretty clean, and friendly enough.

The room was clean, spacious and staff was friendly. The only draw back is that the facility is beside a main route and can be quite noisy from traffic at night sometimes.
