I've stayed here before, but this visit exceeded my past experiences. The level of professionalism from the staff was outstanding; everyone went out of their way to be helpful. The location is unbeatable- so convenient. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

Great view from the top floor - this used be a gem and with a bit of investment could be restored to it's former glory. I was in the best room with a great view however the paint was peeling on the ceiling and the TV streaming didn't work. Breakfast was ok. Staff were fabulous and went above and beyond to support me and ensure I had a great stay

The Lord Forrest Hotel in Bunbury looks good initially, but after a being there a bit, it seems that the hotel seems to just cruise along, only doing enough to get by. My main gripe is that the hotel has an indoor pool, which you would expect to be heated (at a good temperature) all year round..... I mean, that is why we booked this hotel in particular..... but for the time we stayed there, the pool was not heated at all.... it was COLD.... which would be ok if it were Summer, but this was in the dead of Winter (during school holidays!!!). Another issue was the buffet breakfast.... the Bain Marie's were filled with JUST enough food.... i.e. there were just a few spoonful's of the baked beans, one or two fried eggs, a few chipolatas etc. The Hash Browns were too salty. The Chia cups were good one day, then hard the next day. There needs to be availability of Skim Milk, Almond milk etc. for coffee and cereals. I do have to say the staff were friendly and tried to help as best they could, with the small amount of staff they had on duty. We had an outside RGB light shining directly into our room ALL NIGHT LONG. I hope the management see this review and take notes, as this could be a really great hotel, IF the hotel just went that extra bit further in looking after (and out for) their guests. Suggestion: Would be good to have pool towels available without having to ask the front desk for them and have a bag/bin for used pool towels......and PLEASE HEAT THE POOL!!! Thanks :)

Breakfast menu was fine but one person trying to manage tables, clean dirty dishes, make coffee is terrible. I wiped down my own table because the man could not do everything and i felt sorry for him. We ran out of hot food so stood for a while waiting for more. The room was clean. No milk to make hot tea or coffee. No teaspoon either. Room was clean, bed clean. Pool is cold, not even slightly heated. Dissapointed as it was the main reason i booked there.

The property was good and clean. The internet was slow,parking needs to be more secure maybe a boom gate that you can access with room card

We were in room 111 and upon entry to the room there was a strong odour of cigarettes. I’m sure the housekeeping staff had done as much as they could to negate this. The balcony door we could not open and this may have been important in case of a fire. A major litigation red flag however, was having to climb into the bath to take a shower especially with elderly guests. I would advise that this is a major risk that needs to be addressed for future planning. The shower water did not stay hot unfortunately. The breakfast man was very good at his job as was the late manager. Breakfast was great and given the location and competition of cafes the breakfast man is an asset to the hotel. The receptionist upon check out did not even enquire as to the satisfaction of our stay. I work in healthcare and we teach our staff that every moment of contact is an opportunity to ask is there anything you would like us to know. She missed a golden opportunity to have a good conversation with us prior to leaving.

Clean. Comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water. Meals were expensive. Place looks deserted.

Clean and tidy very convenient location and well priced
