Clean room, nice area but we felt like the staff were all quite vague with instructions (especially at the spa) or blunt when you tried to talk to them. The spa is expensive and the restaurants aren’t really anything to rave about so don’t get stuck there for 10 days with only a few restaurants to choose from like we did. There is nothing else around the area. Breakfast was decent.

Most enjoyable stay for so many reasons. While the property is a bit dated, it is very well maintained. It is rather out of the way, but the fact it is nestled between the sea in the front and forest behind, I did not mind the drive. You can experience either the serenity of the sea or sounds of the forest, depending on the chalet you choose to stay in. Housekeeping is excellent, services offered is extensive, food quality and options are amazing, staff is consistently friendly and accommodating. Many small things like loanable amenities, having two sinks in the bathroom, refillable minibar, generous bathroom, no plastic bottles used, balcony with a sunset view, ever present security guards etc. made our stay so very memorable.

Breakfast (buffet) was very good with a variety of dishes. Shuttle service was also very professional and fast. Room was comfortable and clean. Air conditioning worked well. There was enjoyable and pleasant atmosphere on the territory of the hotel.

The resort was beautiful and the amenities fabulous! The pool along with the private beach was gorgeous. The spa was also a beautiful experience. We stayed in the rainforest chalet so be prepared for ants on the bed etc. The room was clean and the minibar stocked daily. The only con is the resort is a bit further away from main tourist areas (25-30) mins drive. On the other hand, it is very close to the Skycab!

Beautiful wooden cabin set among forest but overlooking the beautiful beach. We had a lovely room always clean. Nice gesture of fruit on first day. Also fantastic free mini bar . Stunning setting saw lots of monkeys lizards etc. I loved the mountains and sky cables in the distance. Wonderful Malaysian hospitality. It’s very quiet around the area no shops or restaurants to speak of only the village at the bottom of Sky bridge. Which is walking distance although they run a shuttle. It’s shuts at 7 pm I would definitely stay there again. Thinking of bring my family for my 60th in 2028 .

Great food, great location inc beach. The decor is all very much wood panels in mahogny - all great condition but not current look and feel - did not detract from the amazing time,

Beautiful property and setting. The rainforest chalet we had was sea facing with great views.Bedroom was clean and nice furnishings and bathroom ok but old scratched sink and shower cubicle needs new sealing . Loved the fresh fruit every day and mini bar topped up daily . Food was fantastic and great value for money . We loved the beach brasserie for breakfast as quieter and great sea view. The Boat house was handy for food and drinks and Anil and the other guys were great and service outstanding . Boat house though is scruffy and needs re painting and the chairs need replacing as rusty and old and some broken beach loungers.The beach is gorgeous but could do with litter picking daily to keep it beautiful All toilet areas need to be regularly fresh and cleaned . The staff in all areas were excellent and so helpful and chatty. Great Boutique shop that sold everything and lovely gifts and jewelry at good prices. We are looking forward to returning next year and hopefully the hotel will have had some areas refurbished and tidied up.
