Everything was presented wonderfully in the room, the staff were professional and polite and the breakfast was delicious. Coming to the hotel after knee surgery though meant I needed a firm bed- separate from my partner. Having two queens was fantastic however, when purchasing my room online, there was no space to write on that I would need it to be firm. I believe in a hotel your size you would have a room with two ‘firmer’ beds. It could be useful to pop in a comment box for additional information, as I could not seem to get through in person on the phone after purchasing our room to check. By the time we got there, they said there was nothing they could do. So we did love our stay overall, but for me, I would have slept better had I been able to identify my needs ahead of time. I hope this feedback is useful, you do have a winning formula for a great stay and it would be a shame to not be able to provide a service I’m sure is possible for others like me in the future. Went for a girls weekend. Was the perfect location.

Great location, room size was good, not enough lighting though. Breakfast buffet was good as well.

I paid for the location, the "business center" and because they said online this property had free newspapers -- which it didn't. I generally enjoyed the room, although there was a loud hum in the bathroom for most of it. I didn't find the staff particularly helpful when I arrived, as I asked about using the business center (a computer) and they gave me the runaround, although I used it anyway. Staff was much better when I checked out, guiding me with my questions about going to the airport (take the train, it's right there). This place is next to the train station and practically on the harbor, and is a good, comfortable stay if you want to be in that area. Gym is small and has no windows. They charge for early check-in, but they placed my bags that had been in storage when the room was ready, before official check-in.

The staff in the restaurant were very personable and helpful. The food was plentiful and well cooked and prepared. Our hotel room was cramped with no internet access. The TV pixelated when we tried to watch anything. As I had no internet I could not stream nor could I use my laptop to finish work projects. The valet parking was irritating to say the least. On Saturday morning it was returned with the bonnet covered in bird faeces. Trying to park the car on Saturday evening was difficult with cars having to wait in the loading area. I was advised to find a parking spot at the nearest multi storey car pack.
