WARNING. Do not book this hotel. If I can stop anyone from making the mistake that I made by booking this place then something good will have come from my terrible experience. Check in was pleasant. Arrived to a dirty room. Floors not clean. Throw pillows badly stained. Mirrors filthy. Dead bugs on the floor and what looked like blood on the wall of the bathroom. I went to reception to ask if I could change room and they said there no other rooms available. I went back upstairs and took pictures. I showed the staff on reception and they were shocked. Suddenly there was a new room ready. In the new room we tried to overlook what had happened earlier. I asked for an ironing board and I got a piece of stapled junk and an iron that was so stained that I think it was stored on the street. The final straw was when I pulled back the duvet cover and saw that the sheets did not cover the mattress. I went to bed fully clothed as it was late ,I wanted to go to Angkor Wat for sunrise. When we got back I spoke with the general manager to discuss what had happened . He came up to the room with me to look but the minute I opened the door,turned around and he must have run away as I didn’t even see him go he moved so fast. I booked another hotel and went to reception to see if they could at least offer a partial refund but they said they would not, the GM was no longer available either. Apparently this is a regular problem and the GM has a reputation for being a bad manager( local sources )

The staff were very attentive always trying their hardest to please us and make our stay more comfortable with the little resources available. The hotel is outdated. It seems in its time, it was a very exclusive 5 star hotel. The pool was nice. The breakfast average. We learned during oir stay in Siem Reap that there hasn't been much tourism in the area since Covid and that many hotels are just reopening.

The AC was not the problem. the facility was in bad shape. the first thing that happened was my wife got stuck by a spring sticking out of the mattress. If that was not enough my wife touched a lamp and was given a terrible electrical shock. that was all I needed to leave. I went to the front desk and let them know what happened and no apologies nothing. We left and checked into another hotel.

A large albeit dated hotel in a good position, about 20 minutes to Pub Street or a $2 tuk tuk.

The service was excellent, all of the staff were great and friendly everything was excellent!!!

Good Bar/Restaurant service by Mum & Tharpy. They are very efficient & helpful.

The staff was great the property was very old and out dated the gym was good except for no water or towels old equipment but still usable overall the place was good

The property was old but clean. Spa and steam rooms were not available as promised. Staff members were courteous and helpful.

The hospitality of the staff was great and the rooms were really nice to stay in! The pool was huge and really enjoyable! Would definitely stay here next time I’m in Cambodia.
