We recommend to order the local food platter to enjoy with their complementary cheese platter and a bottle of wine at your balcony with a fire place.

Our experience at Domescapes at Swinging Gate Winery in Sidmouth, Tasmania was nothing short of unforgettable. Two nights spent nestled amidst the picturesque vineyards & rolling hills of the Tamar Valley, our dome offered a perfect blend of luxury & adventure.
Each day began with breathtaking views right from the comfort of our cosy bed & ended with a local Tassie wine under the stars—a complimentary bottle of one of Swinging Gates fabulous wines! The wine tasting experience on site was a delight, introducing us to the rich local flavours, & the delicious cheese platter provided was the perfect accompaniment that night as we sat on our dome deck, watching the sun set over the vines in front of our cosy firepit.
The attention to detail in every aspect of the accommodation was impeccable – from the very comfortable bed to the thoughtful amenities. Every comfort was provided for! The location is ideal for exploring local wineries, going for a morning stroll amongst the vines, or simply relaxing in tranquillity.
Breakfast was included (a short way away in the local towns). We chose Moon Lily Café in Beaconsfield & it didn’t disappoint.
Special mention must go to Doug, who was not only friendly but incredibly welcoming, making us feel instantly at home with his warmth & wine making knowledge.
If you’re after a unique glamping experience that captures the heart of Tasmania, Domescapes in Sidmouth is a must-visit. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, inspired!

Wonderful! What a great unique experience for our stay in Tassie. The wine tasting & platter added to the backdrop of the vineyard whilst we were cosy in the dome.

The place is amazing. Can’t fault it. Lovely people, even though I only talked on the phone. Clear instruction to get to the property. I just wish I stayed longer.

Fantasztikus Honestly one of the best places I've ever stayed. To start the included wine tasting is fun and the staff are super friendly. The dome iteslf is fantastic and well appointed. The outside bath and firepit just finish the whole place off! Stayed for two nights and enjoyed every minute.

What a glorious spot amongst the vines, comfortable well equipped dome, shame the weather didn’t play along so we could use the outdoor fire. The included wine tasting is one of the best we have done, the wines are beautiful and it’s an unpretentious setting. recommend booking the food hamper. What a great idea to give a voucher to use towards the cost of breakfast at local cafes, we visited the Cabin in Exeter and in Moon Lilly in Beaconsfield, both lovely. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay.

It was everything i hoped for and more, a magical and romantic stay with my husband.
