It was the perfect stay.

Nothing good about it

This is a funky little place to stay right where you want to be. It's clearly a converted residence, doing the best they can to squeeze economical lodging into a narrow multi story building. I found the public space and staff to be charming, the accommodations complete but spare. Some stories will illustrate. I was arriving after midnight and was worried that there would be problems getting in since there were no responses to phone calls the day before. BUT they responded very quickly to messages via expedia and told me the desk was manned 24/7. I walked in around 1 am and found the receptionist was napping (which is perfectly fine with me at that time of night!) He didn't wake up to greetings but with a clap of the hands he was instantly awake and 100% professional without a second of recovery time. Never seen anything like it, very charming. The room had a couple twin beds and some tasteful art on the wall. AC from a mini-split. But the bathroom was like an economy cruise: to get to the sink to brush my teeth I had to open the door and step into the shower pit in order to close it to access the sink. toilet paper was affixed behind your head while sitting on the pot. Thankfully the toilet was western rather than middle eastern style, but there was no shower curtain, which is typical for the middle east. Breakfast was fine, with a charming back balcony. Cheese, bread, olives, sweets, tea and coffee. I thought it was perfect for the price.

Close to everything in the Old Town Bathroom was pretty average

The location was perfect. The staff was really nice. I’ll be back there for sure

Small room size is so small and bathroom just size to stand really need to improve, otherwise reception guy was very nice and helpful, breakfast ok room service is ok , location is good

Our room was awful. Part of the ceiling was about 1.5m. The curtains did not close fully, there were wires exposed, nails half out and mould in the room. The room had no wardrobe or floor space. It was terrible and we had to find alternative accommodation as it was that bad. They refused to change rooms or give a refund

Hotel has excellent location, however the way to the hotel very confusing. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Location was great for visiting the historic district. The room was tiny, but adequate. You could hear a lot of noise from the street. The first morning we did not have hot water, so I went to the front desk to ask for help. I ended up having to wake up the attendant who was sleeping in the dining area. He had to do something in the basement and it took another 15-20 minutes to get warm. The breakfast was just okay. For an inexpensive place an 8 minute walk fr district, it’s okay.
