Great spot very clean

The nicest motel I’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommend!

The only reason for a 4- versus a 5-star review was because my room, possibly one of the fewer rooms with the along bed, tucked downstairs, at the bottom of the stairs, and right next to the vending machine room, and not to the fault if the staff or the property, but there was constantly doors being slammed (harder door springs, perhaps?? who know) and it was very disturbing, especially during my first night stay, on Friday’s check in. Even the staff at check was like “… the King bed..!!” Not sure if the room is know for noise or often not rented - not sure. Overall, great, comfortable stay. One thing I should note is that even though they came to the room to pick up the used towels, they did not replace the used towels with the bigger shower towels, and I had to ask the front desk to bring bigger shower towel replacements.

Great location that felt safe. Onsite parking was secure and a plus. Rooms are quite small but the hotel is updated and cute.

While small, the room worked great for our family of 5. The pullout bed was ready for us to use without needing to add sheets ourselves (I do recommend it just for youth since the mattress is rather thin). The queen beds were comfortable. Could use a few more pillows. The bathroom fan could use a little more power and the Android TV occasionally had some glitches, but we were very happy. The location is excellent and to have parking in San Francisco is great. They've done a great job on the updates to an old motel.

Not really a lot of amenities but the motel is great! One of my favorite stays in sf! Would definitely stay here again. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and super helpful.

This motel has easy FREE parking, it is clean, safe, and well presented and maintained. It is extremely well positioned where walking to great hang outs is easy, and driving to great places is equally as convenient. The rooms are not huge, but large enough for a five night stay. I highly recommend the Star Motel.

Great place. Easy access to everything.

Clean room, nice large room, great parking lot. On a bus route. We like the updated decor and the large tiled shower. Quiet at night. Beds were too firm, but overall would recommend for a quick stay.
