Getting a room with a view in old Valletta is hard. Getting a quiet one is even harder. With the ground floor apartment at 136 Old Bakery the only daylight comes from two air shafts, but there is almost no street noise - even on the evening of the national election!
Comfortable bed, good bathroom, espresso machine and a friendly chamber maid. The left luggage 24hr machines a block down the street are useful.

The property was exactly as described and shown. The location was right in the middle of Valletta, everything was close.

The suite at 136 main floor was large and very comfortable. The kitchen was
Sufficiently equipped for two persons and is new and fully functional with fridge, freezer, induction stove top and both a pod coffee maker and kettle. Only drawback is we couldn’t find a store selling the pods to match our coffee needs. The location is perfect from an eating out perspective kudos to Sally Point pizza at the foot of old bakery. As well fantastic Chinese food up the street. Cleaning staff and management were easy to get hold of.
Wifi was super fast. All in All we would stay again.

We were there for 10 days and you could not flush toilet paper it had to be disposed of in a bin. We were provided with a very small bin and not extra bin liners. We contacted the apartment owners and were told we would get a mid stay clean and bin empty as a good will gesture. It’s not acceptable to have dirty toilet paper left that long. Although the aprartment had a kitchen there was no hot water to it as it was a kitchenette, this should have been stated beforehand. When we enquired about it we were told to use the bathroom sink. The bathroom sink is porcelain and very shallow, not somewhere you can wash dishes, no doubt if we had tried this and broken or chipped the sink then we would have been charged. The water wasn’t hot in the shower or bath, just tepid and the bath plug was broken so the water slowly leaked out anyway. The apartment is VERY NOISY, road noise, building works noise and television from upstairs noise.

The entire apartment was extremely clean and brilliantly centrally located.
Great provision of tea and coffee, but no dishwasher tablets.

Absolutely gorgeous apartment, smelled lovely, great amenities and a balcony overlooking the street.
I felt very secure as a woman travelling solo and the staff were very attentive and went out of their way to quickly resolve any minor issues I had.
The only thing I will say is that soundproofing could be improved. I could often hear noise from the other apartments and outside.
Nonetheless this is somewhere I would stay over and over again.

The room looks exactly like the pictures. The main entry and hallways are beautiful as well. Elevator was handy. Location is great and right in the middle of Valletta. Short walk to everything! Cute balcony although the chairs could not fit on it.

Lovely accommodation, clean and well presented. Good location. More info regarding how to use facilities such as TV and coffee maker etc would be good. Also info about local shops, street map etc would be very helpful. Thanks
