Fantasztikus My wife and I have stayed here a few times now and I've no doubt we will again. We always stay in room 4 on the second floor. The only problem being that the shower door doesn't close properly but everything else about the room is good.
The staff were as always excellent.
The cooked to order breakfast was very nice and with a decent choice.
The Hotel is pretty much halfway between Bowness and Windermere village with its own car park, meaning a walk to either is an easy ten minutes.

The staff were very helpful for any requests, the breakfast was good and too much at times! Parking is good on the site. The room is clean.

We had a lovely stay here at Hawksmoor Guest House, the staff were very polite and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Our room was lovely, clean and homely, which made our stay extra special, I would definitely recommend staying here.

We first came last year to this hotel & loved it that much we stayed again this year.
The hotel is in a perfect location for us to explore Windermere where there are lovely restaurants & shops.
As soon as you arrive you are greeted with a smile & quick check in there is no reception as such you just ring a buzzer.
All staff are very friendly & chatty & help you as & when necessary.
The breakfast choice was plentiful catering for all diets, breakfast made fresh to order was hot & good produce from the local area.
The room was a decent size,clean & everything you needed.
Bathroom spacious & clean.
Thank you so much for another great stay we will be back

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit x Michaela cooked eggs perfectly fried scrambled or poached. Parking secure. We were able to use the excellent bus service to visit most places.
We would book here again.

Room 7 was very nice and beds are comfy. The house is very clean and the breakfast was nice and big.
Only thing i would say is that around the bath was a bit black and moldy in parts (a pet hate of mine) .
Other than that, a nice stay, and id definently return
