The room was a basic hotel style room, but somewhat old. There no amenities or front desk area, but there was someone in an office room on another floor during business hours. No extra amenities. The area was ok but busy and somewhat noisy.

This was one of our favourite hotels on our recent trip to Italy. We stayed late April, 2026. Our room was on the first floor (not ground floor). It faced the back and was very quiet, which we appreciated It was decorated nicely with period pieces, high ceiling, and had a comfortable bed. The room had a mini fridge, air conditioning, and the best part, free coffee and tea, and snacks! Which they replenished everyday. The bathroom was large and had a shower and claw foot tub! Even the hallway outside our room was decorated nicely. The ground floor, near the outside entrance looks a bit rough once you are inside, but don't let that part upset you. It's not a typical hotel entrance, it's just part of a historic old house, that's not restored. There was an interior gate, which made it feel secure as well. The elevator was super slow, but that was not important. We used the stairs mainly. You won't be disappointed staying here. The staff were friendly and helpful with our questions.

El lugar está bien ubicado, pero no es muy agradable, las fotos está muy editadas, utilice esta opción por que habían pocas para mi familia grande.
Si son viajeros en pareja o 3 personas mejor busquen un hotel.

Fantasztikus Great staff. Room was clean and bigger than we thought it would be. Very charming building near the train station and several restaurants.

Old bldg near the Santa Maria novella train station. Very walkable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms inside the old bldg were nice and updated. Bathroom was large , shower water pressure was great. The hotel has tea and biscuits and a bottle of wine as well as a refrigerator. I would definitely stay there again anytime I visit Florence.

This property is location is very desirable. The staff is very helpful in providing info for places to visit.
It has tiny lift and is not working as expected, we had to carry our luggage up and down...
