When I arrived, there was no one on site. As a result, I ended up making reservations at a different hotel. I am VERY UNHAPPY with the entire experience. I paid a significant amount of money for the room, and expect I do not qualify for a refund as I did not cancel prior to my arrival. Had I known there would be no one at the hotel I would have cancelled. The picture does not accurately represent how the hotel looks from the road. It was very misleading.

The self service property was clean, had been updated quite recently and the room looked very nice inside. Overall an enjoyable stay. I had issues checking in, but the host came within 10 minutes to assist. Very helpful.

Rooms were stylish and trendy. Some small stains in the tub and on the shower curtain but overall a clean room. The stopper under our door was coming up and one of the sockets looked like it was burnt. Can definitely see where they are making improvements. A lot of clicking at night.

The owner is nice as can be, but unfortunately I have to be honest in this review- My night there was not pleasant by any means. Parking was a bit of an issue as the bar/restaurant loaded the parking lot and then there were cones out on the far end of the parking area which really made it hard to park. Front door to the room didn't entirely shut which allowed flying bugs into the room all night. There were gnats or something all over the room- on the pillow, on the bed, in the bathroom. The light outside the front door attracts them. The light in the closet does not shut off. Switch in the hinge area is faulty. Awful trying to sleep with a light blaring into the room all night. Shower water went cold about 45 seconds into me getting a shower. Not ideal. No wifi- which also meant no TV. The TV also turned itself on several times throughout the night searching for wifi which woke me up 2 or 3 times. There's no cell service either, so the lack of working wifi really didn't help matters. The bed "rocks" side to side and is very low. A lot of the furnishings were brand new, which was nice. Friends of mine got the room for $65 cheaper than I did booking through Expedia.

My partner and I travel for business from time to time and he and I really enjoyed staying here. It was extremely peaceful and cute with a vintage vibe. The owner Kathy was very helpful and kind. It was also so nice to hear the river from our room and to spend some time in nature. The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to get good rest while on our work trip. If we are back in the area we will definitely book here again.

Room was so bright with outside deck and intermittent car lights from parking lot. Property is run down and a mess. Bathroom had 4 lights over the mirror with 2 of them burned out. A box of Kleenex would have been a luxury. There was a dead bug in the medicine cabinet. You could clearly hear everything in the adjoining rooms.

Pretty much nothing in our room worked right and it was pretty expensive

Twice someone opened the door to the room to enter. They also put us on a floor with unsafe steps we gad to navigate to get to. When we checked out no one was available to help us up the stairs to the car.

John was super helpful with getting the lack of hot water fixed. He even brought us towels because who ever cleaned the room only put hand towels. The floors were dirty and the bed only had one sheet on it couldn’t tell if it was top or bottom. Only 2 creamers for the coffee station and one coffee cup. We were told to come to the bar for drinks.. but still was charged for 1 of them. Next time I think we will spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. No offense to John or his wife who was super sweet and fun to talk to. But he needs to get his housekeeping staff some training. I was a house cleaning supervisor and I wouldn’t let anyone stay in those rooms.
