We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant served very tasty dishes, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. The hotel is next to the ocean and the sunrise is amazing!

The hotel appears good from the outside and the lobby, however that is where it ends. The rooms are so tiny that the bed is up against a wall and there was no room for our cases except on the floor taking up the limited floor space. There was an obnoxious continuous odor coming from the tiny bathroom. The safe didn't work and the staff were unwilling or unable to do anything about it. The toilet blocked the first time we used it and when housekeeping came to fix it she yelled "no paper in the toilet". No staff told us about this when we arrived. Housekeeping wasn't done even though we put out the 'make up my room sign'. When we asked why it wasn't done staff replied "we didn't have a key to the room". The only decent thing about this hotel was that the food was passable. We have travelled extensively around the world and rate this the worst hotel that we have ever stayed.

Positives: The room had an amazing sunrise, the breakfast area and breakfast food was amazing. The patio area was nice to sit and do some journal entries. We were able to park our rental car in front with no issue. It was a short 15 minute drive to the Oslob whale shark site. Negatives: The room shower smelled very very bad, we didnt even use it. I'm warning you. The safe in the room didnt work either. There is no elevator in the hotel, so you have to walk up a staircase. It was an average place and it suited our needs as a staging area for our Oslob experience.

The room was beautiful with a stunning view from the bed with a huge bay window. Wifi was good, bed was comfortable, restaurant had great food. Staff was friendly. I wish there was a mini fridge. Cleanliness couuld have been better. There was spots on the stainless and mirrors. The windows on the breakfast room were very spotty, ruining awesome view. Imsure its hard to keep perfect with salt water waves but wiping them more often would help maybe. I really loved that you can use your card to pay for your meals. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the oceanfront location and architecture, funky place. Pool with steps to ocean was cool. Pool wasn't deep but enough to keep cool and service was great. Breakfast was good and included. Rooms where clean, beds standard. Downsides, we were in a triple and layout was very tight. Double and single beds were together with little room to get around and for suitcases, but was only for one night. Bathroom also very small, could barely get in and close the door and the shower leaked. Hot water system was confusing, my friends couldn't figure out how to get hot water, I managed okay. No room for putting your things in the bathroom and keeping dry from leaking shower. Be aware the stairs are very large, awkward, staff were helpful with luggage and water coolers available and coffee which is great. About 20 minutes by tricycle to Whale sharks and Tumalog falls, easy enough to get a tricycle. Nothing much in the area, needed to get a tricycle to get food, but there is a restaurant on site and it's good. Views are awesome. And there is a rooftop for more views. pina colada were reasonable also.

Not happy with the room. Bathroom way too small. Nothing worked in the room even after replacement

It was good overall but the plumbing smelled. Location was great, food was amazing, and the ocean view was breathtaking

Great hotel with beautiful pool and good food at restaurant! Great overnight stay for whale shark excursion!

I love everything about this hotel. The sea view is breath taking. My kids spent hours snorkeling around the hotel . The food was good. I am so pleased with the service.

Good place to stay for a day or two! Good pool and the staff was awesome. Found a cockroach in our room but that’s probably normal for the area.
