THE CRYSTAL SLIDING IS BROKEN, TOILET PAPER HOLDER IS BROKEN AND AIRCON IS NOT COOLING I DON’T HAVE A SLEEP WHEN I CHECK OUT AND TOLD THE DESK, SHE SAID SHE WILL SEND SOMEONE TO CHECK IT OUT, THE RENT FOR 1 NIGHT IS ALMOST $600 IT IS A BAD PLACE TO STAY

Staff was very polite and was as helpful as possible. Issues are that the building and room itself was in need of a lot of maintenance. The cracked windows, scratches all over the walls and doors, cracked floor and shower tiles (and loose with missing grout), holes in floor trim, etc. made it feel very dirty. Some simple maintenance, fixing tiles and replacing old/dirty fixtures would make the place look a lot better and more inviting. The room also had an odor...not horrible but not pleasant. Towels and bed sheets looked clean but were a bit rough. But, with the overall feel of the room, it made everything feel dirty. I was hoping for something a bit better based on the price, but I'm guessing everything in Catalina is more expensive. Location is OK. It's on the opposite side of Avalon from the ferry, but the city is small so it is a short walk. The last bit is a short uphill. Not a big deal unless you are elderly, handicapped or carrying a lot of luggage.

This place lacks maintenance and upkeep. There was mold in the showers, and lighting panels falling down, and our balcony had a gaping hole in corner with rusted metal at the connection between post and deck, seems unsafe.

Please make sure to read reviews before booking a stay here. It’s true you get what you pay for. This was a last minute trip and i failed to read reviews prior to booking. Furniture is very outdated and run down.Couch had multiple stains. Beds were horrible not comfortable at all. Bed comforters had multiple stains and sheets looked very dingy. Great staff and great location . Sadly i would not recommend this Hotel.

Rooms were dirty and old.

Property is old but clean for what it has to offer. Uphill walk from the downtown area. Not good for old people.

Este lugar se debe describir como una estafa, literal lo es. Y tengo pruebas de todo. Fui con mi esposo y mi hija de 3 años a la cual no pude ni bañar del moho, el olor, el piso sucio. Todo estaba asqueroso. No confien en las fotos no son reales y siento que Expedia deberia tener mas cuidado con lugares como este, nada de lo que ofrecen es cierto y si hablamos de las instalacion aun peor. Jacuzzi no funciona, todo oxidado , el pasto inmenso. literal me tuve que ir a otro hotel y no me regresaron ni 1 dolar
