Lovely staff, surprisingly nice restaurants. Relaxing pool.

Silkeborg is a jewel, beautiful for walking and makes a lovely destination. A business hotel mainly, paint peeling and damaged ceiling in the bedroom. No extras such as complimentary water on arrival or in reception, no bathroom extras. No lounge area other than reception. No satilite TV. More could be provided for tourists. A good swimming pool.

Was just OK, overpriced

Large, comfortable hotel. Pool and sauna were great as we were with a young child. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

Our short stay was ok in general. Friendly service at arrival, and nice breakfast included in the price. The biggest downside was the room. The room was pretty cold, and, although ordered for 2 adults and 1 child, it didn't seem to be ready for 3 people (third bed was not made, and there were not enough towels). In general ok, but not extremely good compared to the price.

Everything was fine, luscious view with lots of greenery, good breakfast buffet. Thank-you!

The hotel is 30 years old but the rooms are completely renovated, modern and spacious. And the included breakfast buffet is just brilliant!

Nice hotel, lovely surroundings at the lake. Friendly, helpful staff, good sauna/pool/gym facilities open from 6.00am-midnight. Good breakfast, hot and cold buffet, lots of drink/juice options. If I had to find fault, the bedrooms are a little too basic with a change of room needed just to get drawer/storage space. Tiling in bathrooms and the spa areas are a bit dated. Denmark, you do amazing bacon, but you need to work on the sausages ! There is no room cleaning/maid service unless specifically ordered the night before. Just a daily security check.This was ok for us however fill ups of coffee/sugar/paper cups would have been appreciated. Hard to accept that hospitality in Scandinavia is much more expensive than elsewhere, but we did enjoy our stay at the Scandic.

Staff was extremely friendly. Having a two year old with you can be a handful but staff was always smiling and trying to help out. They even let him feed the fish which made his day!!

Nice and clean.
