I was disappointed with my experience at St. Ann’s Guest House. While my overall stay was average, I encountered an issue involving transportation arranged through the front desk. Upon check-in, I requested assistance with arranging a TT rideshare for my airport transfer. I confirmed this request twice with the staff. On the morning of checkout, no one was at the front desk, and a man entered, identified himself as my driver, and I was directed by the staff. I don't remember the front desk clerk's name, but she's light-skinned of Dougla descent and approximately 5'5 " in height to proceed with him. During the ride, I was told the fare would be $400 TTD, which was significantly higher than the typical rate I had been advised (approximately $150 TTD). I felt uncomfortable questioning the driver mid-journey due to safety concerns, especially being unfamiliar with the area. Additionally, the exchange rate used was different from what I expected, which increased the cost. The driver informed me that the exchange rate per USD is $5.75 he’s using KFC rate which is confusing becuase even the the guest house exchange rate was $7.50 per UDS. KFC isnt a bank so why inform me that your using KFC exchange rate.This made me feel uncomfortable and raised concerns for me about how transportation is arranged for guests. I strongly recommend that future guests exercise caution when accepting transportation arranged through the property. This situation was unacceptable, and I expected better

Nice quiet neighborhood , easy access to the Savannah about 40 min walk to the avenues nice pool clean rooms. Staff was friendly ready to help

Staff Deserves A Raised. VERY Professional, At There Job, Yes A Few Things Can Be Added To Uplift The Property! But Its A Good Spot & Near The Q.P.S Which Is Indeed Awesome!

When I arrived, the hotel did not have my reservation from Expedia. I was still able to get a room. The water pressure for the shower was extremely low. No wash clothes. Staff was very friendly and great customer service.

Very bad

This hotel stay is if you are looking for somewhere to rest your head for the night. The food was good, and the service there was good. Everything else was mediocre. I found a roach crawling in the bathroom, so I kept my luggage secure for the time I was there. Didn't look like the bathroom got clean before we got there

Needs updating but we were thankful for a place to stay for the night

We should have known when we were the only guests. No window in the room that was openable and no view. Toilet wouldn’t flush debris down. The cost was comparable to other hotels in the area and hopefully doesn’t represent the area. Included breakfast wasn’t available at the promised time. Booked as a studio but only one coffee cup. Really not very nice.

Rooms equipment needs servicing. There were smells in the room. It may be the air conditioner or the sewer. There was noise in the mornings from 6:30 am. The front desk staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Would have liked the breakfast menu to have more local options. Overall stay was not bad.

I would recommend the property to everyone.
