★★★★★ I had an excellent stay in Komagata, Taito City. The location was one of the biggest highlights—just a short walk to Asakusa and Sensō-ji, with easy access to the Ginza and Asakusa subway lines, making it simple to explore all of Tokyo. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and felt much more relaxed than the busier tourist districts while still being close to restaurants, convenience stores, and cafés. Komagata is part of Taitō City, an area known for its traditional atmosphere and proximity to many of Tokyo's historic attractions. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. It was a great place to unwind after long days of sightseeing, and the surrounding streets were peaceful, especially in the evenings. One of my favorite parts was being able to walk along the Sumida River and enjoy the views of Tokyo Skytree while still being only minutes away from the energy of Asakusa. Whether you're visiting Tokyo for the first time or returning, this is an excellent base for exploring the city. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and authentic Tokyo experience.

Great location, clean hotel

We had a great time staying at APA Hotel Asakusa Kurumae Kita. Check-in was simple, we got a little welcome kit for our toddler, they clean the rooms every 3rd day of your stay, fresh towels available, daily room makeup if also available, and ultimately just a very simple and low key. The rooms were nice, bathrooms really clean, and the hotel was very quiet. We were there for 3 earthquakes and even with a little sway the building felt safe and the notification that it was safe was done in Japanese and English. There’s a great running path behind the hotel, along the river and the Breakfast buffet was literally like two buildings over at the APA hotel next door. In the middle of various train exits/entrances. 10-15 min walk from the bustling night life streets and food vendors but perfect for our family. 7-11 and lawsons right across the street.

I liked everything about the location , the cleanliness and the service, but the rooms are very small.

Great place to stay in Tokyo. Very kind and helpful people. Clean and quiet hotel in a good location. Laundry room was a bonus, and the buffet breakfast was delicious. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful! The room itself was a little small, but I personally did not mind it. The toiletries that they provided were very thoughtful and the housekeeping was very kind. They came everyday if you asked and consistently provided clean towels. There was also breakfast provided for 2000 yen everyday if you booked the night before. There was also a smoking room provided downstairs and a laundry room!
