Staff were great. Especially Heidi in the breakfast room .lovely location. Will definitely be back.

Room was very small and dated creaky floorboards and could hear everything from room next door. Very noisy from people leaving pub and revving motorbike outside room noise went on until the early hours if it wasn’t too late we would have left. Me and my partner never slept at all wouldn’t stay again

Very nice bar and restaurant area (we didn’t eat). Lovely village just outside Scarborough and North York Moors. Room was very n and excellent value for money.

The hotel is well situated and offers a convenient base for the local area. I would also like to commend the night staff, who were exceptionally professional, understanding, and accommodating throughout our stay. However, our experience in Room 11 was deeply unsettling. During the night, my partner was abruptly woken and believed she had been physically touched, which caused her considerable distress. When we raised this with staff, we were informed that similar reports had been made previously. Regardless of individual beliefs, we feel that any recurring concerns of this nature should be communicated to guests in advance, allowing them to make a fully informed decision prior to their stay. The situation escalated to the point where my partner felt unable to remain in the room. The night staff handled this with great sensitivity and professionalism, kindly offering an alternative room, which we very much appreciated. While we are grateful for the staff’s response and support, the overall experience was significantly impacted by this incident.

Very friendly staff who were amazing, good bar at reasonable prices., tasty good value food. Good shower and parking. Room was clean and well presented, Only issue was adjoining rooms were noisy Otherwise lovely hotel. Would stay again.

The room was lovely,the staff were brilliant and chef was so accommodating for my allergies and very keen to ensure correct measures were made. Food and pudding were amazing! Family room was big, one single bed very springy however. Breakfast was ok but not the best selection. Eggs were made to order but wasnt asked about my allergies on this order just that he would ask the chef to make fresh. Staff all very friendly. Walls were a little think so could hear a dog barking all night and next door snoring. But 100% stay here again. Lovely setting. Fab menu. Lovely cosey bar.

Clean and comfortable room, with everything you need to have a relaxing stay.

Pleasant 2 night stay. Staff very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was tailored to my needs as I'm gluten intolerant. Bed looked a little shabby but very comfortable and therefore i slept very well (don't usually). Free parking and wifi was an added bonus.
