I booked a private tour for just my boyfriend and me, and Hicks Wang was our guide. It was my first time visiting Taiwan, and this tour turned out to be such a valuable, meaningful, and memorable experience. Hicks was an excellent guide. He drove very safely throughout the trip, and his explanations of the different attractions were both entertaining and informative. He made the whole journey feel comfortable and enjoyable from beginning to end. The night view in Jiufen was absolutely breathtaking, and the photos Hicks took for us came out beautifully. They are such special memories from our first trip to Taiwan. Thank you so much, Hicks, for making our trip so memorable and for helping us create such wonderful memories. We truly enjoyed every moment of the tour and would highly recommend it!

We joined a private tour for 3 people. Our driver plus tour guide Peter (老P) is a knowledgeable and friendly person, enthusiastically sharing with us the various highlights during the tour, and the history of Taiwan. He knows the local shops well, including what he think is the best sausage store, peanut snack with ice cream wrap, and bubble tea. He also led us to a very entertaining sales who gave us a great experience at the Shifen sky lantern. We had a great time.

Taiwan's tourism slogan is "Waves of Wonder". This tour showcased not only the (natural) beauty of Yehliu Geopark and Shifen Waterfalls; this private tour is a testament that Taiwan's beauty is not only present in its tourist attractions but most especially its people. Our driver and tour guide, Bubble, is a top-tier tourist guide. As our tour guide, he does not only showcase the history of the places visited, but he exemplified the goodness of Taiwanese locals. He took amazing pictures, recommended the best places for lunch at Jiufen, and because he's so cool, we were able to get a picture beside the Queen's head at Yehliu! We have no regrets in availing this private tour. This tour exceeds expectations - makes you see beauty visible in the eyes and heartfelt experience beyond words can express.

Honestly, before booking I was a bit hesitant to be spending a little more than $100 per person, as it is quite a bit of money. By the time that our day was over, I actually was glad that we paid for a private tour experience. Like some of the other reviews mention, you get more of a historical insight when you go in a private tour. Another additional thing that we found out was that Klook books YOLO Tours through TripAdvisor (at least that’s what we were told), which is why you might be confused as to why there are no Klook signs when you are picked up by the driver in the morning. Private car tour versus a bus tour means that you don’t have to walk as far to get to the spots at Jiufen (we were able to park in a Taoist parking lot close to the center of the streets), along with a lot of historical information! Our tour guide was Jimmy, who was very nice and accommodating! Since it was our first time in Taiwan, he even took us to the Taoist temple, a Buddhist Temple, and we got to stop by one of fhe memorial halls to take a quick picture. We were still able to get in everything else in our itinerary, and I really felt it was a good deal for what we had paid. Although Jimmy’s English isn’t as strong as maybe some of the other tour guides, you could definitely still understand everything that he was saying. Overall, a very nice tour, would recommend to anyone who visits Taiwan to splurge a little bit (if you were hesitant about the price).

We had such a great day exploring Yehliu Geopark, Shifen, and Jiufen with Bubbles as our guide! He was really friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, and shared lots of interesting stories along the way. The car was clean and super comfortable, and the ride was smooth and relaxing. Bubbles was also very patient and thoughtful, always making sure we were comfortable and had enough time at each stop. His cheerful personality made the whole trip even more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend Bubbles to anyone visiting Taiwan! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Really enjoyed this private day trip. Our driver/guide PETER was full of energy and very friendly. He also took very beautiful artistic photos for our family (like a professional photographer). He brought us to a tea house with amazing views in Jiufen. And made several gd recommendations on what local foods to eat at Jiufen old street and Shifen Old street. The weather was very hot but we were blessed with sunny skies and no rain. We went to Jiufen in the daytime. We had a very luxurious and spacious 8 seater car (for 4 pax). Very thankful for the powerful air con in this hot weather. The journey was superbly comfortable. Highly recommend this private tour and our guide PETER.

This was such an amazing activity! Our guide, Hicks was very knowledgeable, patient (I was pregnant) and friendly. He recommended all the delicious food options and scenic spots. We shared lots of laughs and conversations. It felt as if we were exploring and spending the day with a good friend. Hicks took many photos for us so we could remember this special day. The drive to/from our hotel was seamless. We highly recommend this as it was very hot and humid. The duration was just enough to get a taste of the region. Loved every moment! Thank you for a wonderful time!

The package tour was worth every penny and is highly recommended. Our tour guide and driver, Sir Vincent Hsu, was very informative and helpful especially to my senior parents. My mom has mobility issues and he happily assisted her. He drove us safely from and to the hotel. He is also a good photographer and recommends the best and affordable places to eat or buy souvenirs.

野柳gropark看到大自然的鬼斧神功, 各種獨特形狀的岩石，也是渾然天成。而那十分瀑布更是壯觀。真的親身去體會，聽聽澎湃的瀑布聲。而平溪的放天燈，也是很新鮮及特別的體驗。而Tour guide Junior會告訴我們哪裡是最佳攝影位置，而我們想買什麼，他會說出哪裡有得買。也介紹我們去吃非常好味道的牛肉麵。
