Our guide for this walking tour was Yu, a local who has travelled the world himself. Yu had a wealth of knowledge about the local area and about Japan more broadly. Yu's English was extremely good which is quite uncommon in Japan. The Itinerary was great and we saw all the major local attractions in Kanazawa in four hours at a pace that was not too rushed. We used public transport to get to the first site and the whole process was made very easy with Yu explain it before we got on the bus. I give the tour and the guide 10/10..

Great tour if you want to hit all the highlights of Kanazawa. We only had a day to see everything and had booked a 9am tour with the view that could return to anything we wanted to explore in the afternoon however our tour was canceled due to illness of the guide and we got moved to an 11am tour which didn’t leave any time to return and explore some of the wee shops etc. We ended up visiting the gardens on our own afterwards as it wasn’t included in the tour. We are however grateful that we were able to move to another time rather than miss out all together.

I am disappointed in the communication with this company. I listed 2x WhatsApp phone numbers and my email address. Previous tours emailed the night before with all the contact details, this company did not. We are unfortunately unable to use the first listed WhatsApp number, I reached out to the WhatsApp number listed on the itinerary and someone read the message but never replied. So we set off the next morning 2 hours early to meet at the meeting place listed in the itinerary, though it did state it may change. We waited until 10am and while waiting my husband and son walked around the train station trying to find a tour group, but no luck. We ended up doing the tour ourselves from the itinerary, so I believe it would have been a great morning with a guide explaining everything. I understand we are to blame for the mess up with the WhatsApp and not realising until past the klook cut off time, but the lack of communication is disappointing and so was missing out on a guide.
