Our tour guide Jimmy was really friendly and he speaks good English too. He's really knowledgeable about not just the history of the Forbidden City, but also China's history. We really enjoyed the tour, Jimmy made it so much more insightful and interesting as compared to if we were to go on our own. He also helps us to take really nice photos too!~ Highly recommend Jimmy as a guide.

Micsoda fantasztikus élmény! Andy, az idegenvezetőnk, rendkívül jól gondoskodott rólunk attól a pillanattól kezdve, hogy találkozott velünk a szállodánkban, egészen a túra végéig. Kiválóan beszélt angolul, és a Tiltott Városról is rengeteg tudással rendelkezett, ami sokkal érdekesebbé és értelmesebbé tette mindazt, amit láttunk. A túrát az igényeinkhez is igazította (kihagytuk a Tienanmen teret a tömeg miatt). Meg kell említeni Zhen sofőrt is, aki egy makulátlan, vízzel és rágcsálnivalóval felszerelt járművel vitt minket a szállodától a Tiltott Városba. Nagyon ajánlom ezt a túrát egy nagyszerű privát élményért.

Amazing private tour with Mumu! Thank you very much for the very informative 6-hour tour. Worth every minute of it. It’s also great to do this at our own pace since it’s a private tour. Highly recommended especially with Mumu!

Aurora our tour guide was very informative and guided us in a very good way. our tour beat the cross when we left at 7:30 and since it was a private tour we learnt more and had a comfortable time with our own pace.

We have two kids (5 & 8 yo) with us and decided to book a 4 hour tour to Tiananmen and the Forbidden City. Andy was our tour guide today. He was personable and informative. He met us at our hotel and gave us a run down and accurate expectations prior our tour. He predicted the wait into Tiananmen would be 1 to 2 hours even with reservation and kindly advised to skip tiananmen to max out our time in the Forbidden City and in Jingshan park. We decided to wait it out for Tiananmen and the queue was about 1 hour 15 mins as Andy said. Andy was eager to show us as much as he could but too bad the little feet wouldn't catch up due to the crowds and heat. Regardless, we had a great time and Andy definitely made the experience much smoother and more pleasant for our family. Thank you!

Great thanks to Andy, our private tour guide! He made our visit to the Forbidden City exceptional with his deep knowledge and was engaging throughout. He skillfully navigated us through the historical site, explaining the history of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Highly recommended for an informative and enjoyable tour.

I had Jack as my guide. His English is very good and he was informative, polite and caring, always reminding me to watch out of potential holes on the floor as we walked through the Forbidden City. The only thing I would say to improve is to organise more breaks as after all it is a 6 hour tour. Othwrwise definitely worth to do it as walking through old buildings and areas without a guide would be less interesting.

Tony was a great guide with very thorough explanations. He was very knowledgeable about the history and shared it through clear and engaging storytelling. I would highly recommend him.

The traffic was horrendous and we would probably have been faster walking there but having the car meant we were able to leave our bag in it and avoided longer queues at security checks. The guide was very knowledgeable and understood very fast what we were most interested in and what we were fine skipping if it meant also avoiding the crowd. We managed to make good time and saw many things while staying away from the large tour groups. The guide (Vivian) gave us many information and answered all our questions, even checking with local security the only time we managed to ask a question she didn't have an answer for straight away (about the technique used for a specific furniture inthe Ming Dynasty furniture's section, really a niche question tbh)! She also helped us plan how ee were going to get to our next planned visit and arranged for the car to drop us at a convenient subway station.
