Given all the great reviews, I really wanted to like this Staycity but honestly, staying in the basic Studio with 2 people and 2 big suitcases for 5 nights was a bit tight. It was hard to hang up stuff and to be comfortable sitting at the tiny table, even if it was just for breakfast (we didn’t try Staycity’s). Same with the bathroom. While the fridge was a good size, the sink is so small, water splashes everywhere. And while I appreciated the Nespresso capsules to get us started, it would be great to have a Bodum as well. No safe for valuables, which is unfortunate. Charging for housekeeping upon request for stays under 7 days strikes me as excessive, especially given the already high room rate. Convenient location though, not far from grocery stores and only 15 minutes by foot to Trinity College or Temple Bar, a few minutes to the Dublin Express and local bus stops.

Great stay- breakfast was average but not high expectations for a hotel

The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. The room I had was also air conditioned, which was a pleasant surprise. Like a lot of hotels now, there's some very runny hand soap and 3-in-1 washing the bathroom, so if you're staying a while, you might want to bring your own toiletries.

It is a different type of hotel: an aparthotel. Keep this in mind before booking. The hotel was clean and very well-maintained. Location was perfect. Breakfast wasn't included, but we decided to pay an additional amount for it, and it was a good idea, so we didn't have to worry every morning about finding a place to have breakfast. The room was very small. Also, pay attention to this when deciding to book. Our plan was to stay out most of the day, so we weren't worried about a tiny room. But it rained way more than we were expecting, so we had to stay more inside the room, and by the end of our stay, we were a bit exhausted from being in such a small place. They only offer housekeeping if you are staying for at least 7 nights. We stayed 6 nights, and by the end, our room needed some care (even though I bought a few cleaning products to clean it myself, it wasn't the same as having a housekeeper come in). We missed having this. I do believe having housekeeping every 3 days would be beneficial for guests. They have laundry on-site, which was amazing! It gets crowded in the evenings and at night, so I recommend using it during the daytime if possible.

Great place- centrally located in Dublin City Center. Walkable almost everywhere.

Staff was super nice and even ordered us a taxi for when we had to leave early in the morning. Room was clean and breakfast was really good. It’s also in a good location and walkable to a lot of stuff.

The hotel is very convenient and well kept. The only issue was that the room was pretty small for 3 people. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

So, our plane to Dublin was massively delayed. We hadn’t seen that check in was only until 12 several pages down on the receipt and when I tried to contact the property, no one responded. Had to find and pay for a different hotel. So, you were useless.

Pretty good overall. Slightly odd as it feels very much like a hotel but with a fridge and a microwave, a tiny hob and dishwasher. If you were to cook there would be nowhere sensible to eat it as v small room Great location for exploring Dublin, just don’t expect an apartment. It’s a hotel
