We loved the bungalow we stayed in. The accommodation was very comfortable with a lovely pool and bar area and was about to be refurbished according to the reception staff who were lovely, however it is listed as being a 1 minute walk to the beach. That might have been the case before the resort across the road was built, but now you'd have to walk at least 30 minutes to get to a bit that hasn't been claimed and blocked off by private resorts. Cars and motorcycles are available for rent quite cheaply a few doors down and are necessary if you're staying here. There are a few nice restaurants just down the hill but no 7/11 etc.

The front desk staff didn’t have our reservation. It was pre-paid so I waited about 45mins for them to figure it out even after showing them all the proper confirmations.
Upon finally entering the room I was disappointed with the condition of the room. Bathroom was in desperate need of an update, the sheet had a dead insect on it and the bed/pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. The security for the room was literally a padlock that you can only lock from the outside. From the inside there’s only a hook to close the sliding doors. Also, we scheduled a taxi to the airport for check out, and agreed on a price. Upon checking out we were given a receipt demanding we pay 100thb more than than the agreed price.
All that said, the pool was decent and if you just need a place to crash close to the airport for a night then Sasitara will suffice. They did give complementary water though, so there’s that.
