Great
Very helpful staff, we loved how this historic hotel is well maintained and provides all the needed amenities in the room. Location is a short distance walk from Wengen station. Our rooms has unobstructed view of the mountain and the hotel felt very private with respect to the views from the property and away from the hustle bustle of the main town area

Good
It was honestly okay. I understand it may be a heritage property with great views but wasn't value for money. Needs quite a few upgrades in the rooms. Bathtub needs a non-slip mat as it can get quite slippery. Breakfast was so so as well, again not commensurate for what was being charged. Would recommend the owners to invest in upgrades.

Fantastic
This is an amazing place to stay. It is so well kept up and you feel like you have stepped back in time (in a good way). It was close to everything we wanted to do in the Alps and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They have a breakfast buffet and dinner by menu that you can purchase which is nice because the small town doesn’t have many options of food. We would for sure stay there again.

What a charming hotel. It’s definitely a walk up hill from the train station. It’s Worth it! Delicious Tuesday night buffet, don’t miss it if you stay on a Tuesday.
