Hotel Hong at Jonker Street

We stayed here for one night. Checked-in at around 5pm. Front desk was efficient. Rooms are on the first floor. There is water dispenser in the corridor. Our room is 108, small but clean. Both a ceiling fan and air-conditioner are installed. The room has a window. There is a television, one small desk, one dressing table with stools and mirror, a rubbish bin, and a double bed in the room. No tea-making facilities or mini fridge or indoor slippers. Exhaust fan in the bathroom can be noisy initially. After a while it will quiet down. The water pressure is good. We found the toilet roll holder quite flimsy. The bathroom door sometimes gets misaligned, so requires some fiddling to make it close properly. The toilet seat is also not well-secured. We slept very well. The mattress was firm and the pillows were good enough. The location is very good. Close to Jonker Walk and Melaka River, lots of food options within 10-minute walking radius. 4.5 stars.

Clean and comfortable for staying overnight. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Have a water purifier for drinking. Walkable distance to Jonker Street and Dataran Pahlawan. Get parking coupons👍

This hotel is very clean. The parking coupons are provided for the stay. There are many eateries nearby such as Kampung Hulu food court. We walk to Jonker Street so many times♥️

Value for money, no frills accommodation. Good location, few minutes walk to Jonker Street. However, it's located next to a mosque hence the early morning prayers may wake some light sleepers up. Friendly and helpful staff who recommended nice eateries around the area to us. Some stains on the bed linen though I believe they did wash the sheets. Shower area has no shower curtain so the toilet bowl gets all wet after a shower. Parking is available right in front of the hotel and next to it so not an issue. Overall would recommend this accommodation given it's value for money, good location and friendly staff.
