One of the most concerning issues during our stay was that the staff mistakenly assigned our room to another family. They attempted to enter our room, believing it was theirs, which was both alarming and a serious breach of privacy and security. Thankfully, the family realized something was wrong and returned to the front desk, where the issue was eventually resolved.

Stayed with family

The room was clean and the hotel was easy to navigate. The breakfast buffet was fantastic! However, we stayed on a Friday night and the music from a nearby nightclub played loudly until 4:00am. This is not the fault of the hotel and if you are a young person who wants to have a fun night this will probably not bother you. Older people and people with children may want to be cautious. I’m do not know if this would be a problem on weeknights! Overall though the room was clean and comfortable, just noisy!

Good

Solo stay

Stayed one night. It cost online about Eur 150 so expected to 'treat myself'. There I was very disappointed but had it been (say 75 Eur) I woulf have been reasonable. I did expect a/c (for that price) but none. All good with cleanliness, lift working. Room simple but adequate. BUT next morning from 7.15 to 9.45 (2.5 hours) ..no water..ie exactly when one wants to shower, use the bathroom etc. Minutes before my departure for train it came on so I reopened case for a high speed splash. Breakfast spread was nice but first bite of (brown rye) bread delivered the gastronomic shock of mould, and sure enough on examination it was there in full mosaic. But I do think that was just a bad event as the rest was fine. SO..I would say, yes, stay there but not at any price above 80Eur. At what I paid I should have got far far better. Hotels com, you need to pull your socks up, this is the second time now you've badly let me down.

Staff friendly. Room nice but bathroom seemed to have low water pressure for shower and flushing toilet. Didn't have time to have breakfast but the room looked very nice.

We booked two family rooms with balconies and they charged me for two of these rooms. When we got to the rooms, only one was a family room with a balcony. The other one was a very small two room person. I went back downstairs and they said they only have one family room with balcony, even though I had reserved them months in advance. They finally gave me a small credit back. The only thing wanna approve about this hotel was the breakfast! It was absolutely delicious. There was a dirty towel in our room whenever we arrived and also the air conditioner did not work in one of the rooms.

Be aware that this is a smoking hotel. Somehow I missed noticing that when I booked. While having a balcony is great in a downtown city hotel if your neighbour smokes you will have no fresh air as there is no a/c and smoke will blow into your room if you have the door open which is necessary when it's hot out. The property has no ice machine or ice available which I found strange since it is not a super low budget hotel but I suppose ice is not really a normal thing in Germany. Good points are that the rooms have a bathtub, a tiny fridge, the staff were all very friendly, efficient and helpful and the location is close to the main downtown sites and shopping zone. There's a Lidl a couple or minutes away for water and snacks. Our room was very quiet at night.

Solo stay

The room was hot with no way to control temperature. The staff was minimally adequate and at times seemed as if I was irritating them. I disliked all of the construction. It was overpriced for the quality.
