The hotel is exceptionally well thought out, catering perfectly to both leisure travelers and business guests. Lobby shop features a great selection of nice hotel brand goods as well as a wide variety of wines available for purchase. The breakfast spread leaves nothing more to ask for Seoul. It offers a well curated selection of Korean cuisine, fresh breads, and hot soups. Just the right variety and everything tastes fantastic.

I booked one of the larger rooms, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The extra space amde a huge difference, and the amenities were exceptionally throughtful. Having an in-room suit cleaner was fantasitc bonus, along with full-sized refrigerator, plates and glasses. There is also a proper dining table, making it super easy to host a small gathering or enjoy a meal in the room. A 20 minute walk takes you to one of Seoul's signature department stores. Their massive food hall is perfect for picking up incredible dishes to bring back to your room table. If you are looking for extra space, great room amenities and easy access to both local dining and luxury department store eats, this is a fantastic choice.

I booked a room with two single beds, and the space was exceptionally clean. The mattresses have very plush and comfortable cushions. Absolute bliss after a day of walking, through it might be a bit soft if you strongly prefer hard frim beds. A major standout of the hotel itself is the bar. This was actually my second time visiting because the atmosphere is just so leek and sexy. Ideal for late evening drinks. The location offers a great mix of local culture and amjor attractions: Dining: A 5 to 8 minutes walk puts you right in the middle of vibrant restaurants frequented by locals. There is even a 24 hours restaurant nearby serving delicious kimchi based dished alongside drinks. Shopping: it is roughly a 20 minute walk to one of Seoul's signature flagship malls, which sits right next to a large underground shopping mall. Myeondong is also just a short distance away.

Having stayed at over 20 different hotels across Seoul—ranging from luxury resorts to boutique stays—I can confidently say that Glad Yeouido is an easy recommendation for both business and leisure travelers. The Highlights The hotel bar is a standout, thanks to a very professional and skilled bartender who provides exceptional service with a gentle touch. The breakfast also exceeded my expectations, offering a better selection and quality than many other hotels in the city. My room was perfectly comfortable and met all my needs. Things to Note While the location is very convenient for those traveling via Gimpo Airport (a major plus for avoiding Seoul’s heavy traffic), it can feel a little removed from the city center. The nearby subway station is helpful, though travelers should plan for a bit of extra transit time to reach the central districts.

I've stayed over 20 different hotels in Seoul. Both resort type and smaller ones. Glad Yeodo is a easy pick to recommend for both business and pleasure. The Good They have a very nice bar with a serious bartendar who knows how to get things done. Very polite and gentle. Breakfast were better than usual average breakfast in other hotels in Seoul. No complain for the room. The Bad Location can be tricky. It has a subway station but could be tricky to go out to center of Seoul. But close enough from Gimpo airport as that's actually a plus. (no need to worry about traffic crisis)

This is away from usual tourism site. Although train station is right in front and easy for taxi to come with usual taxi apps. What makes this hotel great with five star, 1. so many "local" restaurant within walking distance. not tourist based pricing or food, "local" based real Korean food with local price 2. Hotel got a serious bar with great cocktail. not much food but doesn't matter. great cocktail 3. rooms are fine housekeeping ladies are very helpful as well 4. defenitely clean and air control in the room is great I used hotel buffet for morning. no complain at all. Staff are very polite. With the price they have they are defenitely a five star.
