The rooms were very spacious and bathrooms were clean. The A/C worked wonderfully for a European hotel, kept us chilly during the hot summer heatwave. The staff was very friendly and door staff held open the door for us every time we entered. Free breakfast was a very nice bonus as well. The restaurant in the hotel was also very good, convenient for days where we didn’t want to venture too far off for dinner.

Please change the toilet seats to a more comfortable style

I had a fantastic view of the fountain. Only complaint would be that be curtains were a little worse for wear and in my opinion should be replaced or at least cleaned. The bedspreads weren’t as soft as I would have liked, but all in all the room was comfortable and well laid out. I advise to bring air plugs if you are a sensitive sleeper, as the walls seem very thin and I could hear my neighbors and most activity in the hallway at night or early morning. The air conditioning worked well, thankfully, as it was a very hot summer when I was there. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast which was included with my room assignment was OK. It included the usual continental breakfast choices, as well as some Greek staples tied in. But the spread was not vast. Certainly was enough to satisfy your morning needs, so being included in my already affordable rate was definitely a plus.

The Athens Tiare was a nice little hotel easily accessed by train. The Omonia Square was a fun spot and there were lots of walkable shops and places to see.

I came very late at night , specifically asked for two twins beds. We are couple and a child. Received 2 singles and a couch that was so narrow and uncomfortable for any human , my 12 years old couldn’t use it. This was last min booking, based on the reviews I took the chance. The worse night for our family, no one got a sleep. Not comfortable. We were told parking was close by, and it was 15 min walk . Not ideal at 1am. Normally I would ask if they had any other room, but we were exhausted and just felt with it. 3 of us ended up in 2 single for 5 hours rest. Ppl were welcoming. Center location, ok for a couple that on a budget. Breakfast was ok too.

My third time at the hotel, lovely staff, cleanliness of the hotel and room, check-in process, breakfast, everything was excellent. I will choose to come a fourth time.

Run down rooms , mattress and towels.

Walkable to plenty of spots! We had the breakfast- muesli was available and many fruits. Get the corner room with a view of the center.
