Clean premise, friendly and helpful staffs, reasonable good breakfast, WhatsApp messages for reviews shows they are sincerely trying to improve further. Eateries nearby, from food courts, stalls and restaurants, very convenient.

Room very big but bed not so comfy. Aircon cold enough. bathroom big but water from water heater not hot. Not sure why cannot book without breakfast, can skip the breakfast.

I travel often to Kampar and the Grand Kampar Hotel has to be the best option for anyone wanting a good location, comfortable rooms and god dining options. The breakfast is excellent with a variety of options available. And if the hotel restaurants are not your thing then there are a variety of both Western fast food and sit down restaurants along with a variety of different Asian restaurants - all within a stones throw of the hotel. I highly recommend the Grand Kampar Hotel.

Overall, its a very good hotel. This is the second time for me to stay here. Among the biggest improvement was the cleaned aircond compressor area which was before riddled with pigeon excrements, but now it is clean, Congratulations Grand Kampar Hotel!
