FantasticStayed with kids
Room was clean and comfortable. Food was delicious. Breakfast was provided with many many options. Bathrooms are updated with shower gel and shampoo!

Fantastic Friendly staff, helped us so much with the earlier check-in, booking the tours (normally we don't, but we were tired of getting scammed, and thanks to the guy at reception and for a fair price, we saw so much more than we would have without), and helping us find a place to watch the Champions League. Good room, good location and the best breakfast in Egypt. Thank you!

We were placed in a tiny room right on the street with incredible amount of street noise, not that clean and a broken shower. There were clearly many other rooms available. The staff is friendly and the breakfast adequate but unfortunately the excessive noise, smoke, uncleanliness and lack of working facilities made this a lackluster stay.

We were given room 115. It looked liked a cleaners room. Totally opposite to what we saw in the photos. I recommend Hotels.com to inspect the property and ask them to justify what they promote and what we were offered matches?
We asked for bath towels 3 times and waited for 2 5 hours with kids. Even had to ask toilet paper post room service.
It's a Rip off.
Worst hotel we ever stayed in. The price should be $19 a night.
Should get full refund. We couldn't sleep. Such a shame. Not even 1 star. Should be a -10 star rating.
Pathetic and waste of time and money. Very sad.

FantasticStayed with family · For friends and family
I recently stayed at Gaddis Hotel in Luxor, and I had a truly wonderful experience. The breakfast was fantastic, there were plenty of options every morning, and they prepared fresh omelets and fresh falafel for all guests. The chefs were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole dining experience feel just like home.
Another highlight is the location, it’s right next to the Nile River, which makes evening and early-morning walks absolutely beautiful and relaxing.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great food, warm hospitality, and a perfect location by the Nile make it a wonderful place to stay in Luxor.

Everything was ok except it was so noisy from the hotel cross from us and honking sound from outside which we should have asked to change the room. Breakfat was great.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location, however once we checked in, we left asap because we found a cockroach in the curtains… a flying one too. We’re not picky travelers and we like to stay at economically friendly place but would not stay at a place with roaches or bed bugs. Pay a little extra to stay across the street at Pyramisa or somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this place as we couldn’t even complete our stay

GreatStayed with partner
After a 10-hr overnight bus ride from Cairo, we arrived at the Gaddis in the late morning and we were able to check into our room. Sandra, the receptionist was very attentive and welcoming. Our room was spacious, bright, clean, nice double bed and with a nice small balcony looking to the pool. Within a few minutes we received a tray with complementary tea and coffee and an electric kettle.
We were able to have something to eat at the restaurant, served by the manager, Mohamed, and the waiter Ala, who treated us very well and tended to our every need. The next morning we had a great breakfast - delicious falafel, omelette made by chef Salah. The breakfast had good choices of tahini, yogourt, bread, etc. The service at this hotel is excellent from the front desk, to the security and cleaning staff. The hotel is about a 30-min walk to the tourist area of Luxor across from the Luxor temple. There are plenty of taxis and horse carriages along the road! The only negative at the Gaddis is the wifi. It does not reach the rooms and can only be accessed in the lobby and even there it is limited. The Gaddis is a good option in Luxor.
