The staff was really kind. The area is near a bus stop so it's accessible. They also have free cold water downstairs. It was good that we were able to leave our luggage before and after check in/out. My issue with the room is that the toilet doesn't have an exhaust so it has molds. It would also be nice if they provided slippers. The tv doesn't seem to turn off too. Other than that, it was good enough.

Staying at VHT is really value for money. We booked triple sharing and double supreme rooms for our family. Rooms are tidy and have enough space for our small luggages. We were able to dip into their decent pool as well. There is a food stall accross selling sumptous peking ducks and super hot bowl of pork ribs soup which my elderly parents enjoyed not to mention its affordability. We all enjoy our food there. The bus station is very accessible which is very ideal for my elderly parents. Zhongshan Mall is walking distance and we tried the Mala Hot Pot in one of the food stalls there. Overall our experience in SG are all worth it. Cons: TV in one of the rooms we booked has a problem but its not much of an issue as we are out the whole day. If you are looking for a decent yet budget hotel HVT is a place.
