Great location that is a 4 minute walk from the train station. The hotel is perfectly maintained. The hotel restaurant was excellent and there were dozens of other options within easy walking distance.

Towels not clean. Floors were not cleaned, and we stayed almost 10 days. TERRIBLE POOR LIGHTING IN THE Room. If you book thru a 3rd party the property / Hilton does not award you ANY Hilton Honors rewards , this is so backwards.. why would I book this if I had know? Location is great and quiet BUT the experience has left us poor. It’s very dated and the rooms need a DESPERATE remake/ do-over etc. needs updating.

I have been a Hilton honours member for many years unfortunately booking through a third-party broker you are not allowed or entitled to collect points on your hotel stay, which to me was news as this has never happened to me before at other Hilton properties throughout Asia. Our total stay was in excess of 10 days and I only found this out last min. Had I known I would not have booked the Hilton in the first place.. the property is listed as a four star rating but I would not classify as such. The rooms are very dated most likely due to the high volume of customers and the necessarily hygiene has become to lax The room floors are a timber veneer during our 10 day stay? We don’t believe that they were wiped any time.. once again I find this very poor practice in hotel hygiene.

Location great: 1 minutes to the Cologne central train station. 5 minutes to the river. 2 minutes to the cathedral. Food places all around. Breakfast was great and they have a bar for entertainment .
