Hotel Rene Capt was an absolute joy. More than we'd hoped for in terms of a lovely Belle Epoque hotel on the lake. Dining on the terrace was superb. The staff were immensely helpful. Perhaps best of all was the garden for a quiet read - with Lake Geneva just across the pedestrian promenade.

What an excellent place to stay! The staff absolutely top notch, so helpful, friendly and very professional. Theon was spectacular and that view from the balcony was amazing. The room was clean, bed was the most comfortable I had in Switzerland, breakfast was good with a decent selection. I highly recommend staying here. It is very close to the bus line so perfect for explore the city or getting to the train station. I would definitely get a room with a balcony, you definitely won't regret it.
