This hotel was great for location, especially for food! It was super easy to jump on the metro to see the major sites. The hotel room itself looked exactly as advertised and was extremely clean. Would recommend to others for sure and would stay there again!

The room was clean and nice, we expected it to be tiny as is typical for Paris, but it was actually a bit more spacious than expected, which was nice. We had a room on the 5th floor with had a typical Parisienne view, and the lift was helpful. There was AC but it was not very powerful during the heat wave. A kettle was provided with instant coffee, but this was not restocked, and dirty cups were not replaced until we asked. The location was great, lots of nice brasseries and bakeries in the neighborhood and walking distance to many places.

Our stay at Hotel Marena was the perfect, inexpensive, little base of operations in Paris. It was a long walk or ~€15 to get to the heart of Paris. During the heat wave, it was especially nice to have cold, efficient AC (even if we needed to put down a bucket to catch the drips). The staff were all kind and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were fine, especially considering we weren’t in the room very much. I would recommend it if you’re particularly budget conscious, but would suggest something closer to downtown if that is what you’re there for.

Amazing stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was perfect—within walking distance of so many great restaurants, cafés, metro stations, and the beautiful Sacré-Cœur Basilica. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
