South Point resort is very nice, but it is far from the calming beaches and activities in Barbados. They don’t offer complementary shuttle service to the beaches or airport thus far each taxi or Uber is 30 US dollars per Way. If this hotel is in a different location, it will be every bit of a five. If you’re looking for tranquility and to stay in your room then yes it’s a five but if you’re looking for other activities, you probably wanna stay more inland. Hotel staff is excellent and so is the food.

Fantastic

Solo stay

Had a wonderful trip. The staff was awesome. They made me feel right at home. Facilities were clean. There’s some nearby places that you can walk to check out. About a five minute walk from the water. I don’t recall the restaurant nearby, but they’ve got a bonfire at night and live music that is walkable.

This hotel was very nice and affordable, the staff was helpful and friendly my only issue was the location of the hotel.. very far from all of the upscale restaurants almost $70 for a uber to QP bistro which is crazy if I knew beforehand and did my research better I would’ve stayed closer to all of the popular sites and restaurants. Also they advertise the king bed room and charge you extra but it’s really two twin beds pushed together so if you try to sleep in the middle you fall in the hole and the height difference from the twin beds didn’t match as well. Found that ridiculous that’s a problem that should be fixed with a simple mattress topper. Other than that the hotel was clean, restaurant on property was delicious but expensive. The view of the beach was amazing with a short walk and they have cows, ducks, crabs, lizards, sheep and birds all over the resort. Amazing

There were a few nice staff and a few very rude staff. We were promised and scheduled a shuttle to pick us up from the airport which never came so we then had to spend 60 USD dollars instead of 40 USD dollars which was stated on Expedia but when we got to the hotel, they actually told us it was gonna be $50 USD. So they never picked us up or dropped us off most of the food on the menu. They were out of stock. Drinks weren’t really that good. The pool closed at six. We asked them to extend it to seven. They told us to know just for us till later come outside at 9 PM and see your whole family swimming there. The staff was not accommodating except for Kemar, John, gap and a few others. Paula was also very sweet in the Restaurant she was the only one who was trying to accommodate and help us out since they were out of everything that we wanted they also protest this big barbecue buffet just to go and it wasn’t actually a buffet. You still have to order the food and they were out of all the steak all the fish. The chicken was nasty. They tried to charge us for chicken tenders because it was on the kids menu we said that was fine. We’ll pay the up charge just for them to still not give us an adult portion of the food so we pay 25 USD dollars for a kids menu there was so much more stuff, but I don’t have enough space to type it. definitely won’t stay again.

Stayed with family · For friends and family

Our family of 3 had a great short stay in a two bedroom room. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was fresh and good quality, we enjoyed a dinner and breakfast there. We would stay here again on a trip back to Barbados.
